Nutrition anthropology is the study of food and nutrition from evolutionary, behavioural, social and cultural perspectives and how these interact and impact on the nutrition and health at individual and community level.

This module unit is intended to equip the trainee with adequate theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in nutrition anthropology. In addition, the trainee will be equipped with knowledge and skills for conducting nutrition anthropological studies and understanding how these impact on  nutrition and health at individual and community level.
