Welcome to information studies
This course unit will provide the trainee with relevant theory necessary to make them proficient in application of digital systems.
The general objectives is as follows,the trainee should be able to:
- understand number systems and perform binary arithmetics
- understand binary codes
- Appreciate the operation of logic gates
- Design combination of logic networks
- understand the logic families
- Design segmental circuits
- Recognize the operation of data handling logic circuits
- Classify and describe the operation of memories
- understand interfacing of Digital with analog systems.
