The unit is intended to equip the trainee with basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in nutrition and dietetics. the trainee will be introduced to the profession of nutrition and dietetics.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Explain the meaning of terms used in nutrition and dietetics
  • Explain the importance of nutrition in human health
  • Describe  the standards and ethics of professional conduct in nutrition and dietetics practice
