This module unit is intended to impart the trainee with knowledge and skills on the management of animals for production of high quality products.

General objectives:-

  By the end of the module unit, you should be able to:-

Demonstrate and guide in the skills of animal feeding, reproduction, breeding and disease prevention.

Demonstrate and guide in skills and techniques necessary in livestock production.

Acquire , adapt and use new technologies. 

Interpret government policy on environment in which livestock and livestock products operate.         5 Participate and carry out tasks in research, product preservation and processing.
