Solar PV systems are becoming accessible to many households. Generally, most of the systems are not working properly because of the high failure rate and lack of trained technicians. Solar PV installers must have adequate technical knowledge, training and experience to ensure quality system design and installations. If this is not done then the system will fail after a short time.
This course has been designed to address most of these problems. The target trainees are those taking Degree, Diploma and Certificate in electrical, instrumentation and control systems and telecommunications engineering systems.
Through this course, you will have practical information and guidelines to properly install solar PV systems to reduce system failure mainly caused by inadequate knowledge, poor design, poor procurement and workmanship.
