This module unit is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes in diet therapy to enable him or her manage diseases and disorders using diet.
by the end of the module, trainee should be able to:
- understand the role of nutrition in managing chronic and terminal diseases and disorders
- manage chronic and terminal diseases through diet
- acquire skills in managing diseases and disorders through diet
- appreciate emerging issues and trends in diet therapy
