WHAT THE COURSE ENTAILS

This course unit is intended to provide the trainee with both fundamental principles and practical knowledge of chemical kinetics and Reactor Engineering.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES At the end of this course unit the trainee should be able to:- 

a) Explain the fundamental principles of chemical kinetics. 

b) Describe the operation and construction of chemical reactors.

This course unit is intended to provide the trainee with the knowledge and skills in chemical process operations of various chemical industries in a conducive environment. Practical aspect of the subject depends on PILOT UNIT OPERATIONS AND INDUSTRIAL VISITS – besides the INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT.
