Module I

This module unit deals with study of materials used in construction work. the purpose of this module unit is to equip the trainee with knowledge skills and attitudes necessary to understand sources, manufacture / production process and use of the materials.

OBJECTIVE.

By the end of the sub module unit, the trainee should be able to

1. Explain the various methods  of of conversion and seasoning of timber.

2. Explain the processes and objectives of seasoning.
